7 Denton, MD Denton, MD Full-time Full-time From $22 an hour From $22 an hour They will report to the Quality Control Manager / General Manager and will be responsible to ensure that the concrete shipped and placed meets or exceeds design specifications.
This position will require a flexible schedule and may require traveling within the Baltimore/Washington area.
Conduct moisture samples for raw materials on a prescribed schedule (daily/hourly) as determined by the QC Manager and communicate results to Plant Manager and/or production employees.
Conduct concrete air and slump tests as needed or prescribed Create concrete test cylinders as needed or prescribed and deliver them to the test laboratory for analysis.
Produce documentation on paper or electronically as necessary.
Preferred Skills/
Qualifications:
ACI Level 1 Certification for Concrete and/or Maryland State Highway Certified Concrete Technician Previous experience with and knowledge of concrete and concrete production Strong math and analytical skills required to calculate mix constituent requirements, particularly regarding unit of measure conversions, percentages, weights, and volumes.
