Summary:
The Sales Manager will identify opportunities within the Shoreline Vinyl Systems delivery area with companies that sell fencing and railing products.
Applicant would preferably reside in Maryland.
Essential Job Functions:
Grow the Shoreline Vinyl Systems market share in Vinyl, Ornamental Aluminum, Chain-link and Wood fencing and railing products.
Assisting in establishing an annual goal and setting budgets/targets.
Working with the CSMO and the GM to get the most support out of the production and logistics teams.
Managing the Inside Sales Manager and their associates to ensure that their day-to-day processes support our customer service model.
Managing and traveling with Outside Sales Managers in their territories, visiting customers and facilitating conversations that will increase our partnership.
Maintaining detailed knowledge of the company's products.
Making presentations and being involved in customer tours.
Keep current with all company administrative requirements (expense reports, visit reports, competitive analysis, and pre-call analysis).
Dealing with customer issues by defusing and resolving them.
Maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
Meeting the sales budget while increasing market share in the fencing and railing industry.
Find, open, and develop new accounts in the market while exploring new ways to expand the sales of the Shoreline offering.
Interacting with customers daily.
Develop a strong working relationship with our largest customers to coincide with our outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
Building products and distribution business knowledge.
Minimum 75% travel with overnights.
General knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word).
Own vehicle for work, reimbursement for mileage.
Physical Environment:
Ability to travel long distances within the Shoreline Vinyl Systems delivery area.
Office time spent in the Denton, MD facility.
